Arthur Jensen was born August 24, 1923 in San Diego, CA and passed away at 89 years old on October 22, 2012. Jensen received a B.A. in psychology from the University of California, Berkley in 1945 and went on to obtain his M.A. in psychology in 1952 from San Diego State College. Jensen earned his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Columbia University in 1956 under the supervision of Percival Symonds who was known for the scientific study of personality.
